Fault Remedy

If any fault occurs, such fault may be caused by a total battery discharge or too

high or too low a temperature. Therefore, it is recommended to restart the

charging after lapse of some waiting time. Such charging may be accomplished

either by:

pulling the plug charger (6) out of the 220V mains outlet and reconnecting

it; or

taking the DOCTER

aspherilux midi LED out and inserting it again;

or

switching the DOCTER

aspherilux midi LED on and off again.

Please note that the battery will not be charged as long as the LED flashlight is

switched on. There will be no charging unless the DOCTER-aspherilux LED

spotlight is switched off.

The contact surfaces (4) on the bottom side of the DOCTER

aspherilux midi LED

and the contact pins at the charging (7) station should be kept clean (to be

cleaned with spirit) and protected from damage.

Battery Warning

During operation, the battery voltage is measured permanently. If such

measurement detects that the battery voltage is nearing the programmed warning

voltage, then two short flashes will be released as a visual warning signal. This

signal is sent off in switched-on condition once only. Upon re-start and after a

short pause of approximately one second, two short flash signals will recall the

warning condition. Depending on the temperature and frequency of use, a 10 to 30

minutes operation back-up remains available.

Automatic Switch-Off and Emergency Light

When the final discharge voltage of the cells is reached, a permanent flashing will

be initiated in order to avoid total discharge. Then, the LED will always be

switched shortly with longer pauses. Thus, an emergency light is available. To

avoid permanent damage to the batteries, operation in this condition should be

limited to a minimum.

Environmental Influences

When leaving the factory, the DOCTER

aspherilux midi LED is waterproof.
