The LM-125 CRT Monitor prodives a secondary means for annunciation of Alarm and Trouble events as
indicated on an addressable fire control panel, such as the Cerberus XL, CXL, or MXL system. All messages
will remain displayed until the screen capacity is exceeded, or until blanked by the screen saver feature. A
detachable keyboard provides system control. The display can easily be programmed for all popular emula-
tions and comes with a one year warranty.
The monitor is the amber monochrome type with a 132 column display. When the screen capacity is
exceeded, the oldest message will “scroll” off the display to allow room for the new message(s). After 15
minutes of no activity, the screen saver will blank the screen. All messages will reappear when any key is
depressed, or whenever a new message is transmitted from the fire control panel. Since the is not permanent
storage of messages, a printer should always be connected to the system (PR-125 typ).
This model LM-125 monitor is designed to operate from a RS-232 data loop using a standard 25-pin connec-
tor. An interface is required for proper operation with the XL and MXL systems. Also, a modem or data
converter will be required if the monitor is to be operated in a location more than 50’ from the fire control panel.
The monitor is shipped with a connector kit, wiring diagram and operation manual. Please consult Light Engi-
