6.3 Mounting
WARNING!
Only use suitable sealing material!
■ Hot media might escape if unsuitable sealing material
is used.
■ Unsuitable sealing material may cause damage to the
plant and pollution of the environment.
■ Use a sealing material that is suitable for the tempera-
ture range, and that is resistant to the medium being
measured.
Before mounting
Before starting the work, make sure that the conditions for mounting
the thermometer are met:
■ The plant is disconnected and free from pressure.
■ The plant has cooled down to ambient temperature.
■ There is a threaded fitting at a suitable position in the plant.
■ A suitable sealing material is used.


