Chapter 1

V-Check Ponts

These voltage checkponts are used to measure the current system voltages. A

multmeter (not ncluded) wll be requred to check voltages. To check the voltage, set

the voltmeter swtch to “DC”, put the postve lead (red) on the postvtve pont of the

voltage source pont and the negatve lead (black) on the GND (ground) pont. The

followng table descrbes the voltage check ponts.

PCH_1P5V

PCH 1.5 voltage. The PCH voltage s the voltage suppled to

the Platform Controller Hub.

PCH_1P1V

PCH 1.1 voltage.

Refer to PCH_1P5V.

CPU_PLL

CPU_PLL voltage. The PLL voltage s the voltage suppled to

the process Phase Lock Loop.

DDR_C/D

Memory channel 2 and 3 voltage. The DDR memory voltage

s the voltage suppled to the DDR memory modules on the

manboard. Lower DDR tmngs may requre hgher voltages to

mantan system stablty.

DDR_A/B

Memory channel 0 and 1 voltage. Refer to DDR_C/D.

CPU_SA

CPU system agent voltage (MC). The CPU SA voltage s the

voltage suppled to the IMC (Integrated Memory Controller)

on the CPU. Hgher overclocks may requre a hgher CPU SA

voltage to mantan stablty.

CPU_IO

CPU IO voltage (Uncore). The CPU IO voltage s the voltage

suppled to the Uncore on the CPU. Hgher overclocks may

requre a hgher CPU IO voltage to mantan stablty.

CPU_CORE

CPU core voltage. The CPU core voltage s the voltage suppled

to the CPU core. Hgher overclocks may requre hgher CPU

core voltages to mantan stablty.
