Protecting Pictures and Videos From
Deletion
Use the Protect feature to prevent specific pictures and videos from being
deleted.
CAUTION:
Formatting internal memory or a card deletes all
(including protected) pictures and videos.
To protect a picture or video:
1 Turn the Mode dial to Review , then
locate the picture or video to protect.
2 Press the Menu button.
3 Highlight Protect , then press the Select
button.
The picture or video is protected and
cannot be deleted. The Protect icon
appears with the protected picture or
video whenever it is displayed.
4 To remove protection, press the Select
button again.
5 Press the Menu button to turn off the menu.
