Troubleshooting

Camera does not
recognize
SD/SDHC card.

Purchase a certified SD/SDHC card.

Format the card (

page 33

).

Caution: Formatting a card deletes all pictures and videos,
including protected files.

Insert a card into the slot, then push to seat (

page 3

).

Camera freezes up
when a card is
inserted or
removed.

Turn the camera off, then back on. Make sure the camera is turned off
before inserting or removing a card.

Memory card full.

Insert a new card (

(

page 44

), or delete pictures (

page 15

).

full.

Transfer pictures to the computer (

page 44

), then format the card or

The Reset Camera
feature did not
take effect.

After using the Reset Camera feature (

page 33

and then on again.

Pictures taken on a

the Setup menu, set Image Stabilizer to Off (

Cannot delete
some pictures.

If a picture is tagged as a Favorite, a Protect tag is automatically

or the card/internal memory is formatted (

page 33

).

Pictures that have
Kodak Perfect
Touch technology
applied (twice) are

quality.

If Perfect Touch has been applied to a picture on the camera, do not
apply it again when the picture is on the computer (or on a Kodak
kiosk).
