Connecting to a Computer

When you connect the projector to a computer, make sure that the
distance between it and the projector is 6 feet or less.

Always use the power cord and VESA cable that shipped with the
projector. A surge-protected power strip is recommended.

Many laptop computers do not automatically turn on their external
video port when a secondary display device such as a projector is
connected. Refer to your computer manual for the command that
activates the external video port. Activation commands for some
laptop computers are listed in Appendix C.

Note:

If you are connecting an older Macintosh computer that does
not have a 15-pin connector, use the optional Mac adaptor.
