Using Scene (SCN) modes
Choose a Scene mode—for great pictures in practically any situation.
1 Press
until the LCD displays SCN, then press OK.
2 Press
to view scene mode descriptions.
If the mode description turns off before you finish reading it, press OK.
3 Press OK to choose a Scene mode.

Portrait
Use for full-frame photos of people and other subjects.
Sport
Use to reduce the effect of fast action.
Sunset
Use in sunset light.
Backlight
Use for photos where light is behind subject.
Children
Use for action photos of children in bright light.
Bright
Use for bright, outdoor pictures including snow or beach scenes.
Fireworks
Use for photos of fireworks. Steady camera for best results.
Night Portrait
Use at night to capture both subject and background.
