Configuring

EasyUpdate

Configurations

for

EasyUpdate

can

be

done

through

the

registry,

Active

Directory

®

,

or

the

start.reg

file.

If

you

are

configuring

just

one

system,

you

can

use

the

registry

to

configure

EasyUpdate.

If

you

are

configuring

multiple

systems,

you

can

use

Active

Directory

to

configure

policies

for

EasyUpdate.

If

your

enterprise

does

not

use

Active

Directory,

Lenovo

provides

the

start.reg

file

that

you

can

configure

and

then

deploy

to

multiple

systems.

To

edit

registry

configurations,

close

the

EasyUpdate

application.

If

EasyUpdate

is

running

while

changes

are

made

in

the

registry,

the

old

registry

entries

will

be

recovered.

After

the

first

launch

of

EasyUpdate,

the

configurable

for

EasyUpdate

that

can

be

modified

are

in

the
