1080 ODD board
For access, remove these FRUs in order:
• “1010 Optical drive” on page 33
• “1020 Keyboard” on page 35
• “1030 Base cover” on page 37
• “1040 Battery pack” on page 40

Detach the ODD board connector in the directions shown by arrows 1 and 2.
Remove the screws 3.




Step Screw (quantity) Color Torque
3 M2.0 × 2.0 mm, flat-head, nylok-coated (2)
ODD BD to Up
Black 1.8±0.2 kgf*cm
Then remove the ODD board in the direction shown by arrow 4.

When installing: Make sure that the connector is attached firmly.
