Disassemble the LCD module
The LCD module as a whole is not a FRU. It contains FRUs as its components. Before disassembling the
LCD module, make sure it has been detached from the base cover. Refer to “Remove the LCD module” on
page 34 for instructions.
Remove the LCD panel
Step 1. Pry and then remove the two hinge covers 1 .

Step 2. Remove the four screws 2 .

Step 3. Use a scrap credit card or a similar plastic card to slide through the grooves between the LCD
panel and the LCD base cover; lift up the LCD panel by its upper edge

CAUTION:
The LCD cable and the touch module cable are connected to the back side of the LCD panel.
Do not pull the LCD panel beyond range before disconnecting these cables.
Step 4. Check the back side of the LCD panel for cables and connectors; disconnect the LCD cable
