Scanning to an SMB mailbox using Mac OS X
Note – This procedure was performed on Mac OS X 10.4 “Tiger”. It should be similar in other versions of
OS X but some of the screens may differ.
1. Windows file sharing must be enabled in order for the KIP to
see the Mac on the network. Run “System Preferences” from
the dock, or use the mouse to select the apple in the upper
left-hand corner and choose “System Preferences…” from
the pull down list.
2. Under System Preferences, select “Sharing” from
“Internet & Network”
