Never lift the IC-308 by grasping the top panel. The top panel
does not support the weight of the system.
The IC-308 touch panel is a liquid crystal display (LCD) that
is made of glass and can break. Do not subject it to strong
shocks. If the IC-308 touch panel breaks and the liquid crys-
tal material leaks out, do not inhale, ingest, or touch it. If the
material gets on your skin or clothing, wash it off with soap
and water immediately.
Do not apply excessive pressure to the panel. This changes
the color of the panel.
Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the IC-308/IC-415.
This may result in a fire or electrical shock.
Do not keep using the IC-308/IC-415 if the IC-308/IC-415
becomes inordinately hot, emits smoke, unusual odor, or
noise. Immediately turn off the power switch, unplug the
power cord from the power outlet, and call your authorized
service representative.
