If an optional tray is installed, select Unit 3 or Unit 3 + 4 under
Installable Options (p. 49). If Unit 3 or Unit 3 + 4 is not selected,
Tray 3 and Tray 4 appear in gray and cannot be selected.
Background Printing
„ Print in
Allows you to choose between printing in foreground and printing in back-
ground. Printing in background creates a spool file that is temporarily
saved on your computer until the print job is ready to be processed. This
allows you to continue working in your applications while the print job is
processing. If you don’t have enough free file space on your computer to
process a spool file, select Foreground printing.
„ Print Time
Allows you to assign a priority status to the print job and specify a particu-
lar time that the print job should be printed.
