3 Installing the Printgroove POD Queue
Client
The Printgroove POD Server is instrumental in the exchange of data between
Printgroove POD Queue client and the Printgroove POD Driver.
To submit a job to Printgroove POD Queue, you only need to install the driver
application. Once installed, the driver allows you to open a native file and
submit it to Printgroove POD Queue for processing. Prior to sending the job,
the driver will, if required, convert the job to PDF format and then provide an
editable proof via the GUI interface. When you are satisfied with the proof,
the job is sent to the server. The server then transfers the job data to Print-
groove POD Queue. Once the job is sent to the server, it cannot be sent back
to the driver.
To process Printgroove POD Queue jobs, you must install the Printgroove
POD Queue client application. Once installed, Printgroove POD Queue client
receives and sends data from the server including new jobs transferred from
the driver.
