Before proceeding with the installation, be sure to exit all running
applications.
Installing the Software from the Desktop

Copy the printer driver package from the CD-ROM to the desktop.

Double-click the printer driver package (on the desktop).

Root privileges are required in order to install the driver.

Click Continue.
Installing the Software from the Command Line
1
Copy the printer driver package from the CD-ROM to the desired folder on
the computer.

From the Main Menu, select System Tools, then Terminal.

Enter the command “rpm -Uvh magicolor2530DL-x.x.x-x.i386.rpm”.
"
“x.x.x-x” represents the version number of the printer driver.

Quit Terminal.
