Reference: What is the Copy Track function?
• If the remote diagnosing function of the PageScope Remote Care
is being used, it is not necessary to specify the device e-mail
transmission/reception settings (“10.1 Configuring E-Mail
Transmission and Reception Settings for Devices (This
procedure is performed from the device.)” (p. 121)). Since the
PageScope Remote Care and the Counter Reader function use
common settings, the necessary settings have already been
specified.
• The Copy Track function keeps track of the number of sheets of
paper used by each account number.
When the Copy Track function is enabled, anyone wanting to
use the copier must first enter the appropriate password
associated with the account number on the copier’s control
panel.
A count is maintained for each account number, and the
administrator of the copier is provided with quick and simple
access to usage data.
