10. The use of other battery types can be dangerous. These may

cause interference and/or damage to the unit or surroundings. The

manufacturer will not be held liable for damage arising from such non-

compliance.

11. Do not use third party charging bays. Damage may be caused to the

batteries.

12. Dispose of batteries safely. Do not immerse them in water, burn them,

or put them where they could get punctured.

INTENDED USE

This telephone is intended to be connected to a public analogue

telephone network or to an analogue extension of a compatible PBX

system.

SETTING UP YOUR PHONE

4.1

Attach the stand to base station (see P1)

• Insert the stand into the locking grooves at the bottom of the base

station.

• Twist the stand slightly until the stand is firmly secured to the base

station.

4.2

Connect the power cable and telephone line cord (see P2)

• Plug one end of the power cable and telephone line cord to the power

jack and phone jack respectively on the bottom of the base station.

• Plug the other end into a power and telephone wall socket.

4.3

Removing back cover (see P3)

• Use a small screwdriver or a pen/pencil tip to gently press the small

button to release the spring lock. The bottom edge of the back cover

will click open from the handset.

• Pull the back cover to open completely.

4.4

Installing the battery (see P4)

• Place the supplied rechargeable batterypack into the battery

compartment by sliding the battery down into the recess, as shown.
