9.5 Security settings
To manage the security of your phone.
to set
the SIM
security
SIM lock On / Off : you need the
correct PIN to change the status or to
change the password and when the PIN
lock is turned on, you will need to enter
the PIN every time the handset turns on
or is unlocked.
Note: some SIM cards don’t allow it
turned off.
Warning: if you enter the wrong PIN
three times the SIM card will be blocked
and you must enter the PUK number or
contact your SIM provider to unblock
it or set a new PIN code. PIN and PUK
numbers come with your SIM card.
Phone
security
to set the Phone lock On / Off to need
to enter a PIN on power-up and to
change the phone password . Default
Pin = 1122.
9.6 Notification settings
To set optional notifications that can be shown or
played when there are new entries in Messages,
Call logs or Downloads.
9.7 Restore settings
To restore the phone to its initial settings.
All phonebook, call log entries and call timers will
be erased and settings will be reset to default.
This requires the Phone Password. (Default
password = 1122)
9.8 Sound effects
To set the sound style for Audio functions, with
Equalizer settings of Normal, Bass, Dance, Classical,
Treble, Party, Pop or Rock.
