SHOOTING PICTURES CONSECUTIVELY

SELECTING THE SEQUENTIAL MODE

Allows you to shoot pictures consecutively. When the shutter button is held down, the
camera will take pictures in sequence. Picture-taking will stop when you release your
finger from the button. The Sequential mode is not available if the record mode is set
to TIFF. Press

to change the function of this mode. Pre-capture shooting is set

on the menu. The sequential mode includes:
Single-frame shooting (normal shooting mode)

: Takes only one picture when

the Shutter button is pressed all the way (Initial setting). There is no display on
the control panel. When Pre-capture is set, the Pre-capture indication appears.

Sequential Shooting

: Takes pictures in sequence. Focus, brightness

(exposure), and white balance are locked at the first frame. The number of still
pictures that can be stored depends on the selected speed.

AF sequential Shooting

: Takes pictures in sequence. Focus, brightness

(exposure) and white balance are locked in each frame.

Self-timer/remote-control

: Takes pictures with the self-timer/remote-control.

Single-frame shooting.

Auto bracket

: Takes pictures in sequence. Shooting is performed with

brightness (exposure) and/or white balance automatically adjusted for each frame
when the Shutter button is pressed all the way. It is possible to change both the
exposure and the white balance or one or the other. Focus is locked at the first
frame.

Pre-capture shooting

: When the Shutter button is pressed halfway, shooting

starts at the sequential speed you have set. The camera records the number of
pictures you have set just before moment the Shutter button is pressed all the
way. Pre-capture can be also used together with the Sequential shooting.

SEQUENTIAL SHOT PLAYBACK

In Sequential shot display, only one representative frame is displayed. To view other
frames recorded consecutively with the representative frame, you have to EXTEND.
Sequential shots are pictures recorded in the following modes:
– Sequential mode
– Auto bracketing
– Pre-capture shooting
