Press the shutter button completely to take the
picture.

Y12 SEC: The self-timer lamp lights for approximately

10 seconds, then starts blinking.
After blinking for approximately 2 seconds, the
picture is taken.

Y2 SEC: The self-timer lamp blinks for 2 seconds, then

the picture is taken.

Press

#(Flash pop-up) to open the flash.

Press sr to select the flash mode, and press

o.

Press the shutter button halfway.

When the flash is set to fire, the

# mark lights.

Press the shutter button completely to take the picture.

To save battery power, the camera automatically enters sleep mode and stops
operating if not used for 3 minutes in shooting mode. Press the shutter button
or turn the zoom lever to reactivate the camera.

If the camera is not operated for 4 hours after the camera enters sleep mode, it
automatically retracts the lens and turns off. To resume operation, turn on the
power again.

Auto flash

The flash fires automatically in low light or backlight

condition.

reduction flash

Emits pre-flashes for red-eye reduction.

Fill-in flash

The flash fires regardless of the available light.

The flash always fires after pre-flashes for red-eye

reduction are emitted.

#SLOW Slow flash

The flash fires with slow speed.

Flash off

The flash does not fire even in low light conditions.
