Power Management
The audio controller in your computer can be turned off when the audio
function is not used. To adjust the configuration of audio power
management, click the Power Management button
.
When audio power management is enabled, the circle button at the
upper left of the Power Management is blue and convex.
When audio power management is disabled, the button is black and
concave.
Speaker Configuration
Click the Auto Test button to confirm the internal speakers or the
headphone sound is coming from the right direction.
Default Format
You can change the sample rate and bit depth of sound.
Dolby® Advanced Audio v2
This feature is available on some systems.
Dolby® Advanced Audio v2 is a suite of audio technologies that enables
your computer to deliver a crisp, clear cinematic surround sound
experience over its built-in speakers. It also adds clarity to sound from
headphones.
Volume Leveler: maintains the volume across all content and applications
according to where you set the volume level.
Volume Maximizer: boosts the audio signal without causing noise or
clipping so you can get the most out of the PC’s built-in speakers.
Audio Regulator: eliminates noise caused by the combination of
overdriven speakers and amplifiers.
Audio Optimizer: improves the frequency response of the computer’s
built-in speakers so content sounds truer to the way its creator meant it to
be heard.
Graphic Equalizer: allows you to make static adjustments to the playback
system and tailor audio to your exact specifications.
Surround Virtualizer for Built-in Speakers: creates a virtualized surround
sound experience of stereo or multichannel content over built-in speakers.
You can access Dolby® Advanced Audio v2, click Start -> All Programs -
> Dolby -> Dolby Advanced Audio.

Video mode
Video mode settings are configured via the Screen Resolution dialog.
