Security Lock Slot
TV Out The 4-pin S-Video port is compatible with PAL or
NTSC TV standard.
Sound system The integrated Windows ® compatible sound
system provides support for internal speakers as
well as jacks for an external microphone and
headphones.
Headphone jack A standard 3.5mm stereo jack is provided for the
connection of external headphones or speakers.
Microphone jack A standard 3.5mm mini microphone jack enables
connection of monaural microphone input.
Modem An MDC 1.5 modem module provides capability
for data and fax communication. It supports the
V.90 or V.92 standards depending on the region
and provides a modem jack for connection to a
telephone line. The speed of data and fax transfer
depends on the analog telephone line conditions.
LAN The computer has built-in support for Ethernet
LAN (10 megabits per second, 10BASE-T),
Fast Ethernet LAN (100 megabits per second,
100BASE-TX).
Wireless LAN Some computers in this series are equipped with
a wireless LAN mini Card that is compatible with
other systems that support the 802.11g wireless
communications standards. It allows roaming
over multiple channels.
Power-on password protection
Two level password architecture
Receives an optional security lock in order to
anchor the computer to a desk or other large,
heavy object.
