Safety Instructions
1. Do not drop, puncture or disassemble the camcorder; otherwise the warranty will be voided.
2. Do not expose the camcorder to high temperature or leave it in direct sunlight. Doing so may
damage the camcorder.
3. Use the camcorder with care. Avoid pressing hard on the camcorder body.
4. For your own safety, avoid using the camcorder when there is a storm or lightning.
5. Use only the accessories supplied by the manufacturer.
6. Keep the camcorder out of the reach of infants.
Cautions concerning use in water
• The waterproof properties of the camcorder apply to fresh water
and saltwater only; they do not apply to cleaning substances,
chemicals or water from spas, etc. In case of a splash,
immediately wipe off any moisture.
• Make sure that the slot cover is closed
• Do not immerse in water at a depth greater than 5.0 m
• Do not subject the camcorder to high-pressure water.
• Do not immerse in water for longer than 30 minutes.
• Do not open and close the slot cover when the camcorder is
wet or while it is immersed in water.
• Do not open and close the slot cover with wet hands.
• Do not open the slot cover on the beach or at the poolside.
• Do not jolt the camcorder while it is immersed in water. Doing so may cause the slot cover to
open.
• Keep the lens clean and wipe the water off the camcorder with a soft and dry cloth after use.
About the built-in battery
• The built-in battery pack is lithium ion batteries, which can explode if not used properly.
• Do not attempt to replace the built-in battery. It is built-in and not changeable.
• Charge the built-in battery only in an ambient temperature between 5 and 35 degrees Celsius.
• Otherwise, the electrolyte solution might leak, battery performance might deteriorate and the
battery life might be shortened.
