(3) Wipe the surface of the photosensitive drum with a cotton swab until the dust
or paper powder on the surface comes off.

Caution:

Do not wipe the surface of the photosensitive drum with something sharp. (ball-point
pen etc.)


Use the cleaning liquid which is a 50-50 mixture of ethyl alcohol and pure water.

Drum unit 1 Is the wire cleaner positioned
at its home position? No Return the wire cleaner to its
home position.
Ditto 2 Is the corona wire dirty? Yes Clean the corona wire.
If the problem still appears
after cleaning, replace the
