Problems
Possible cause
Handset does not ring
The ringer volume may be switched off (if it is there will
be a RINGER OFF ICON in the display. Press and hold
to switch it off and on. To adjust the ringer volume
on the handset, see page 51.
Check that the base station is plugged into the phone
socket and mains power and switched on.
Buzzing noise on my
Sometimes your BT Freestyle 4100 can interfere with
radio, TV, computer
other electrical equipment if it is placed too close.
It is recommended that you place your BT Freestyle 4100
handset at least one metre away from such appliances to
avoid any risk of interference.
