Safety
Safety is a foremost priority in all Liebherr design, manufac-
ture, operation, service, and training. With a dedicated focus
on Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) during all phases of
equipment design, Liebherr strictly adheres to industry standards.
Liebherr minimizes operator fatigue with pressurized ergonomically-enhanced
cabs that feature armored, laminated windows and ensure a low noise and
vibration level. Easy machine and component access and egress, as well as
anti-slip surfaces, enhance maintenance safety while advanced suppression
systems aid in fire prevention.
Liebherr employs ongoing training to educate mine person-
nel on a wide range of safety topics including operator fa-
tigue detection, maintenance precautions, and other crisis
preventative procedures. Liebherr safety training minimizes
