Performance
The L 514 - L 580 wheel loaders are particularly versatile
and suitable for universal use as they can be supplied
with industrial lift arm / parallel linkage or Z-bar linkage.
The perfect machine is always available for specific tasks
such as loading and compressing bulk cargo in high
walking floor containers. This widens the machine’s areas
of use and therefore increases its productivity.
Reliability
Liebherr wheel loaders satisfy Liebherr’s exacting
standards in even the toughest conditions as a result of
the fact that they feature many components which are
produced in-house and are therefore perfectly tailored

Comfort
The modern ergonomic cabin design provides the operator
with maximum comfort enabling him to concentrate
on his work without fatigue, which once again means
more capacity and productivity. The displays, controls
and operator’s seat are carefully coordinated to form an
ergonomic unit. The high proportion of glass in the cab
provides the operator with excellent all-round visibility of
the equipment and working area, thus ensuring maximum
safety for people, the machine and the load.
All the working and travel functions are operated precisely
and sensitively from the Liebherr control lever. This
ensures accurate and safe handling, and the left hand
always remains on the steering wheel. Jobsite safety is
increased.
Economy
The hydrostatic driveline achieves a reduction in fuel
consumption for wheel loaders of up to 25 %. In addition
they suffer hardly any brake wear because the Liebherr
travel drive always brakes hydraulically even under the
toughest working conditions. The continuous traction
control together with the automatic self-locking differential
prevents wheel spin. This leads to higher productivity, for
example when working in the area of a sorting machine
at a waste disposal or landfill site, and at the same time
it reduces tyre wear by up to 25 %. At maximum handling
capacity and efficiency the low fuel consumption reduces
operating costs and also protects the environment.
