This Iced Tea Maker is designed to brew 2 quarts of great tasting Iced Tea,
sweetened or unsweetened. The Iced Tea Maker brews 1 quart of extra strength
tea, increasing in volume to 2 quarts when added to the ice or cold water in the
pitcher during the brewing cycle. The glass pitcher holds 2.5 quarts, allowing
additional ice or water to be added after the brewing process is completed, if desired.

Before using for the first time:
Remove the filter, brew basket, and sweetener
chamber. Rinse the filter in warm water only. Washing the filter with soap is optional
as any residue my affect the taste of your tea. Wash the brew basket, sweetener
chamber, and pitcher in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.

Note: To remove any manufacturing residuals in the appliance, we recommend
running at least one full pitcher of water only through the appliance. Follow the
directions in the “

TO MAKE TEA” section of this manual but do not use any tea

leaves or bags.

A small amount of smoke and/or odor may occur upon heating due to the
release of manufacturing oils – this is normal.

Some minor expansion/contraction sounds may occur during heating and
cooling – this is normal.
