Custom-made requirements and solutions
• Liebherr crawler tractors are equipped as standard with a pressurised cabin so that outside air can only enter the cabin
via the air filter. It is also possible to install additional pre-filter systems for the cabin in order to protect the driver.
• The use of a reversible hydrostatic fan drive guarantees that the cooler will be cleaned.
• Sprocket segments with recesses and track shoes with trapezoidal holes enhance the self-cleaning of the tracks.
• The variable material conditions – very soft subsoil with freshly distributed ash, muddy on rainy days - require con-
stantly good traction. In order to meet these requirements, Liebherr crawler tractors are equipped with long track
frames and wide track shoes.
Special device design for reliable operation.
Dumping coal ash on very dry days often subjects you and the machine to a high degree of dust contamination.
To deal with this problem, Liebherr offers special options which protect the driver and the crawler.
