Undercarriage
The R 980 SME excavator has been tailored to meet the specific requirements

This undercarriage also features the following characteristics:
• Double-grouser beveled track pads are fitted as standard to assure
excellent ground penetration and traction even over rough terrain
• Molded two-tooth sprocket for a longer service life
• Dual-pivot carrier rollers for increased reliability and long-term durability
