The standard mobile crane type LTM 1055-3

.1

with optional equipment for special requirements

High load capacities, an extraordinary mobility, comprehen-
sive convenience and safety equipment as well as a prac-
tice-oriented transport concept for crane accessories and
optional equipment characterize the standard mobile crane
LTM 1055-3.1 from Liebherr, modified for the army.

The 3-axle, 55-tonner, positioned on outriggers or free on
wheels, offers outstanding load capacities. The 32,5 m long,
torsion-resistant telescopic boom lifts loads to 32 m height
under hook at radii of up to 28 m. Supporting basis and
counterweights are variable for a comprehensive applica-
tion spectrum. High working speeds even permit the quick
handling of loads. The safe load indicator LICCON guaran-
tees fully automatic control of the crane performance in all
operative ranges.

Outstanding
performance

The LTM 1055-3.1 is compact and maneuverable, its opera-
tive weight is 36 tons with equal axle load distribution of 12 t
per axle and the control of relocating and setting on outrig-
gers is even possible from the crane cab. The modern LIAS-
DRIVE provides a crane-specific, intelligent travel strategy
for a smooth driving quality at economic fuel consumption.

High mobility and
efficiency

Driver’s cab and crane operator’s cab are modern, ergo-
nomically designed working places. The standard cabs can
be interchanged with armoured versions within a few hours
if required. And instead of the standard tyre equipment, spe-
cial tyres with emergency running capabilities provide for an
increased mobility.

Comprehensive

equipment for con-

venience and safety

Containers are provided for the transport of the crane ac-
cessories and the optional equipment. All accessories and
the optional equipment, required for everyday operation, are
stowed in containers, loaded on lorries by the crane and are
available for crane operation if required.
