Never use a descaling agent based on mineral acids such as sulphuric
acid, hydrochloric acid, sulphamic acid and acetic acid (e.g. vinegar). These
descaling agents will certainly damage your SENSEO
®
coffee machine.
Descaling procedure
The descaling procedure consists of three cycles:
- Descaling cycle (approx. 35 minutes)
- Rinsing cycle with used pod (approx. 3 minutes)
- Rinsing cycle without used pod (approx 3 minutes)
Descaling cycle

Mix 50 grams of citric acid with 1 litre of water in a measuring jug.
Stir until the powder has completely dissolved.

Remove the water reservoir.

Take the Calc-Clean tool out of the recess in the back of the
machine.

Remove the milk container unit from the machine.

Insert the Calc-Clean tool into the coffee spout.
Note: Push the Calc-Clean tool into the machine until it locks into position with
a click.

Push down the milk container lever.
