- Do not let the mains cord hang over the edge of the surface or

worktop on which the appliance stand.

- Keep the appliance and the mains cords away from hot surfaces.

- Always fully unwind the mains cord before you plug in the appliance.

- Avoid touching the cutting edges of the discs. The cutting edges are very

sharp.

- Never use a spatula or a spoon to remove the ingredients from the

appliance during operation. Always unplug the appliance if you have to

remove something from the feeding tube.

- Never use your fingers or an object (e.g. a spatula) to push ingredients

down the feeding tube while the appliance is operating. Only use the

pusher for this purpose.

- Never reach into the feeding tube while the appliance is operating.

- Be very careful when you handle the discs. Be especially careful when

you remove them from the Cutting Tower bowl, when you empty the

bowl or when you clean it. Their cutting edges are very sharp.

- The appliance is intended for normal household use only. It is not

intended for use in environments such as staff kitchens of shops, offices,

farms or other work environments. Nor is it intended to be used by

clients in hotels, motels, bed and breakfasts and other residential

environments.

- Switch off the appliance before you detach any accessory.

- Unplug the appliance immediately after use.

- Always switch off the appliance by turning the control knob to 0.

- Wait until moving parts stop running before you remove the lid of the

appliance

- If the appliance is used improperly or for professional or semi-

professional purposes or if it is not used according to the instructions in

the user manual, the guarantee becomes invalid and Philips refuses any

liability for damage caused.

- Never use any accessories or parts from other manufacturers or that

Philips does not specifically recommend. If you use such accessories or

parts, your guarantee becomes invalid.

- Always place the appliance on a dry, flat and stable surface.

- Do not use the appliance or any of its parts in the microwave.

- Only use a moist cloth to clean the base of the appliance.

- Do not move the appliance while it is operating.
