Press the two red release buttons on the brewing unit towards each

other and pull the brewing unit out of the appliance.

Note: The brewing unit can only be removed if the appliance is switched off.

Attempting to remove the brewing unit while the appliance is switched on may

cause serious damage.

Clean the brewing unit under a hot tap. Do not use any cleaning

agents.

Never clean the brewing unit in the dishwasher.

Carefully clean the inside of the appliance.

Scrape away coffee residues caked to parts inside the appliance with a

plastic or wooden fork. Then suck up all the residues with a vacuum cleaner.



To put the brewing unit back into the appliance, slide it onto the

supports and the pin at the bottom.

Press on the ‘PUSH’ area until the brewing unit snaps into place.

Note: After you hear the clicks, make sure the red buttons have snapped

outwards. Otherwise the service door cannot be closed.

Note: If you cannot insert the brewing unit, press the unit firmly from above

and below at the same time and then try to insert it. If you still cannot insert

the brewing unit, close the service door, unplug the appliance and then plug

it in again. Wait for all the lights to go off after the self-check, then open the

service door and reinsert brewing unit.
