1 Remove the appliance from the charging stand
before dismantling the appliance.
2 Turn the appliance On and allow to run until the
appliance turns off after one minute. Repeat this
action until the battery is empty/depleted.
3 Insert a small flathead screwdriver between the silver
ring and the anti-roll ridge and pry loose the top part
of the appliance. Carefully pull the top part with the
battery holder out of the housing.
4 Remove the rechargeable battery from the battery
holder (fig.16).
5 Do not attempt to replace battery. insulate battery
ends by covering with tape and/or place battery in a
small plastic bag.
6 Discard the appliance. Do not attempt to recharge
the appliance after the battery has been removed.
7 Contact your local town or city officials for battery
disposal information or call 1-800-8-BATTERY or
www.rbrc.com for battery drop-off locations.
