11. Drape the Cord toward an
electrical outlet and use the Cord
Hook to hold the Cord out of the
way. Peel the paper off the
adhesive back of the Cord Hook.
For the most attractive
appearance, place the Cord Hook
at the back edge of the cabinet
(on or next to the wall) over the
outlet to be used.
NOTE: For safety, NEVER USE
TACKS THROUGH OR AGAINST
THE CORD TO HOLD IT.
USING THE NOTE: The Horizontal Toaster must be
TOASTER mounted before using.
A NOTE ABOUT THE TOASTER: This toaster is
designed with a special setting for pastry and a
range of settings — light to dark — for toast.
1. Plug the cord into a standard electrical
outlet. This Toaster is equipped with electronic
toasting, which means consistent toasting
performance for each setting. Adjust the
Electronic Toast Control Knob to the desired
setting - Light to Dark or Pastry.
2. For first use, set the Toast Control at Medium.
Readjust for lighter or darker toasting. All
breads/pastries do not toast alike. For example,
thinner, dry bread requires a lighter setting
than thicker, fresh bread. See the “Toasting
Guide” on page 14 for recommended settings.
