Hydraulic Fluid Level Dipstick

The dipstick on the reservoir fill cap indicates the proper

level of hydraulic fluid in the reservoir. The reservoir is

inside the front of the chassis (refer to Figure 5.3).

Figure 5.3 – Inside Front of Chassis

Remove the chassis cover and check the fluid level with

the aerial platform in the stowed position. Otherwise, the

cylinders act as a large reservoir for hydraulic fluid mak-

ing the level appear too low. The fluid should be visible

on the dipstick.

Chapter 5 – Gauges and Displays

The aerial platform is equipped with an hour meter and

a battery charge indicator to monitor the condition of the

machine before and during operation.

Diagnostic Center Display

The diagnostic center LCD display (refer to Figure 5.1) is

located on the right side of the lower control panel.

Figure 5.1 – Diagnostic Center LCD Display

When the battery disconnect is plugged in and the emer-

gency stop button is enabled at the lower controls, the

LCD display shows:

• The accumulated aerial platform operating time

• The available battery power to operate the machine.

Battery Charge Indicator

The battery charge indicator is on the battery charger on

the right side of the chassis (refer to Figure 5.2). When

the batteries are charging, the battery charge indicator

displays the level of charge in the batteries.
