7. Drive the aerial platform forward or backward and then
stop, to reset the parking brakes.
8. Verify that the drive system and brakes operate prop-
erly before operating the aerial platform.
9. If the brakes do not reset, do not operate the aerial
platform. Refer to Chapter 12 – Troubleshooting.
