Service Technicians

Include the following when inspecting the machine.

Daily Prestart Inspection

Item

Inspect For

Lift Cylinder Coils

Make sure the coils are in good condition and are not swollen or split

Solenoid Wire Harness

Make sure the wires are in good condition and the connection to the coils are properly

made and are clean, without corrosion

Frequent Inspection and Maintenance – Every 90 Days or 150 Hours

Item

Inspect For

Engine Alternator Voltage

Verify voltage reading at B terminal on the alternator is between 13.8 and 14.2 volts

Solenoid Wire Harness

Make sure the coils are in good condition and are not swollen or split

Machine Operators

Include the following when inspecting the machine and observe proper machine operation when lowering the platform.

made and are clean, without corrosion

Lowering the Platform

When lowering the platform make sure to have the engine running.

If the engine will not run but the battery is properly charged, at the lower controls, turn the key switch to the On position and

pull the emergency stop button outward. At the upper controls, turn the start switch to the On position and pull the emergency

stop button outward.

If the engine will not run and the battery will not supply ample power, 12 volts can be jumped from another source to each of

the coils to allow the platform to be lowered.
