AFTER USE EACH DAY
1. Ensure that the platform is fully lowered.
2. Park the machine on a firm level surface with the parking brake applied, preferably under cover,
secure against vandals, children and unauthorized operators.
3. Turn the Key Switch to OFF and remove the key to prevent unauthorized operation.
TOWING PROCEDURE
1. Requires 2 inch (50.8 mm) ball and coupler hitch.
2. Attach the trailer chains to the towing unit, put one chain over another under the tongue
3. Fold trailer jack and lock into travel position.
4. Verify parking brake is released.
5. Verify that the drive assembly is in transport position.
6. Unit can be towed by any large or small vehicle, including ATV or golf cart for use at various
locations
7. Your PLE scissors lift is designed to be towed at highway speeds according to the laws in your
state.
MAINTENANCE
Never perform service while the platform is elevated without first lowering the scissor stack on the
safety prop. DO NOT stand or have weight on the platform area while deploying or storing on the
safety prop.
APPLYING SAFETY PROP
Installation
1. Park the machine on firm ground.
2. Verify that both Emergency Stop Switches are ON.
3. Turn the Key Switch to Ground Mode.
4. Press the Level button (Machine should now be leveling).
5. After leveling, press Push to Enable button then toggle to
Raise and hold. This will raise the lift until the safety prop will
fit in between the scissor assembly.
6. Lift safety prop off hanger and hold upright between scissors.
7. Press the Push to Enable button then toggle to Lower and
hold. This will lower the lift onto the safety prop.
