Washers and (2) 1/2” Flat Washers, (Figure 6). NOTE: To identify the proper Sidebar, the rear
Sidebar leg is 1/2” longer after the bend than the front leg.

6. Level and adjust the Sidebar and tighten all hardware at this time. Tighten all factory hardware

to factory torque specifications. Repeat steps 2 – 6 for passenger Sidebar installation.

7. Do periodic inspections to the installation to make sure that all hardware is secure and tight.

To protect your investment, wax this product after installing. Regular waxing is recommended to
add a protective layer over the finish. Do not use any type of polish or wax that may contain abrasives
that could damage the finish.
For stainless steel
: Aluminum polish may be used to polish small scratches and scuffs on the finish.
Mild soap may be used also to clean the Sidebar.
For gloss black finishes: Mild soap may be used to clean the Sidebar.

To prevent the factory center bolt from spinning,
hold the center bolt with a wrench as you loosen
or tighten the factory hex nut. Do not remove the
center bolt or the rubber body mount.

Install the front Mounting Bracket with the
gusset toward the front of the vehicle.

Remove factory hex nut and washer.
See Fig 1 for information. Driver side
rear body mount pictured.

Remove plastic deflector.
