8.4.1 Waste container

The waste container can hold up to 300 pipette tips up to 1000 μL in size.
8.4.1.1 Placing the disposal bag in the waste container
Use a disposal bag to protect the waste container from contamination.
Prerequisites
• Disposal bag
• Clamping ring
1. Place the disposal bag in the waste container
2. Fasten the disposal bag with the clamping ring.
3. Tightly pull the edge of the disposal bag downward.
The dispensing tool and rack access will not be impeded.
8.4.2 Waste funnel
The waste funnel holds large quantities of pipette tips.
If you would like to use a waste funnel, the epMotion must stand on work surface adapters.
Contact Eppendorf AG before using a waste funnel.
