SUBJECT: FORMED CHIPPER
PADDLES KIT, PN 77582-00

Before inspecting or servicing any part of this machine,
shut off or disconnect power source and make sure all
moving parts have come to a complete stop.

FORMED CHIPPER PADDLES INSTALLATION
1. Shut off chipper and wait for disk to come to a complete stop. Disconnect power source.
2. Open chipper housing to expose disk.
3. Install disk lock pin to keep disk from rotating. On older models that do not have a disk
lock pin, a block of wood or a large punch inserted through one of the holes on the disk
will need to be used to secure the disk in place
4. Remove existing paddles and hardware. DO NOT reuse the existing hardware. Use the
new 1/2" bolts and nuts included in kit.
5. Install new paddles with hardware provided. (See orientation illustration on back.) Torque
bolts to 75 ft-lbs.
6. Remove disk lockout pin or other securing method. Turn disk to ensure all paddles are
installed correctly and the disk spins freely and does not make contact with housing.
7. Close chipper housing and test before use.
