1. chipper chute: Feeds materials to the chipper blades
for chipping.
2. Discharge Tube: Chipped material exits through this
tube. It is adjustable 360 degrees.
3. rotor access cover: Tilts up to expose rotor.
4. Drive Belt shield: Never remove shields when in
use.
5. Fuel Tank: Fuel level indicator is located on top.
6. pintle hitch: Always use safety chains when towing.
7. pivoting Tongue Jack: Always have in uP position and
clear from ground when moving. When in use, place
in DOWN position on a level surface. Turn handle to
raise or lower wheel.
8. Battery Box: use group 24 600 CCA min.
9. Belt engagement pedal: Used to disengage rotor
assembly drive belt.
10. control panel: Contains the key switch, throttle control,
Murphy switch and gauges.

11. hydraulic Fluid Tank: Check level of hydraulic fluid
before each use.
12. controller light: When the light is flashing green,
increase RPM. The feed roller can be shifted into
Forward when the controller light is steady green. See
Section 6 for more information.
13. Feed roller Jack: use the jack to raise the feed roller
for service or maintenance. See Sec. 5.7.
14. manual container: Conveniently holds your
manuals.
15. Disk lock and pin: Use the disk lock to hold the
chipper disk in place when doing any maintenance
work on it. See Sec. 5.2.
16. Feed roller control Bar: Move the feed roller control
bar to begin feeding materials into the chipper.
17. Feed roller speed control: Turn clockwise to increase
feed roller speed and counterclockwise to decrease.
