4.1.2 HTTP Secure
This section provides the menu for connecting to the device through HTTP Secure
protocol.
HTTP Secure (Hyper Text Transfer Protocol Secure): Encryption over HTTP
HTTP Secure is a combination of the HTTP with SSL/TLS protocol to provide encryption
and secure identification of a network server. HTTP Secure enhances overall network
security by encrypting data sent.
z HTTPS:
To enable or disable the HTTP Secure protocol here. The camera can be set to allow
both HTTP and HTTP Secure connections, or allow HTTP Secure connections only.
z Port:
The port specified for HTTP Secure connections to access the camera.
