IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

Always follow standard safety requirements

when using the domestic appliances.

READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY

BEFORE USING THE VACUMM CLEANER

WARNING

To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock or

injuries:

1. Never leave the vacuum cleaner unattend-

ed, when plugged in. Always unplug when

not in use and before maintenance.

2. To reduce the risk of electric shock, never

use outdoors or on wet surfaces.

3. Never let the children use the unit as a toy.

Extreme caution is required when using the

vacuum cleaner near children and/or inca-

pacitated persons.

4. Check the power cable for damages on a

regular basis. Never use the appliance, if

you detect any damage to the unit or the

power cable.

5. For repairs of the unit or replacement of the

power cable refer to the authorized service

center.

6. This appliance is intended for household

purposes only and shall be operated in full

compliance with the User's Manual.

7. Never use the power cable as a handle and

do not close the door on the cable. Keep

the power cable away from sharp edges or

corners. Do not run the vacuum cleaner

over the power cable. Keep the power

cable away from heated surfaces.

8. Do not unplug by pulling the power cable.

Hold the plug and pull it out of the power

socket.

9. Never handle the plug or the vacuum

cleaner with wet hands.

10. Keep the inlet and outlet ports free from

foreign substances. Never operate the unit

with the ports blocked. To ensure normal

air intake, keep the inlet filter free from

dust, fluff, hair and other litter.

11. Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers and other

body parts away from air inlet ports.

12. Switch the vacuum cleaner using the

ON/OFF button first, then unplug.

13. Be very careful when cleaning the stairs

landing.

14. Never use vacuum cleaner to collect flam-

mable liquids, such as petrol or solvents,

and never use vacuum cleaner in places

where such fluids are stored.

15. Never use vacuum cleaner to collect lit or

smoldering cigarettes, matches or embers.

16. Never operate the vacuum cleaner without

dust bag or inlet filter.

17. Hold the winding cable with your hands and

keep the plug from hitting the floor.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

In case of abrupt suction power reduction dur-

ing the cleaning, switch the vacuum cleaner off

immediately and check Telescopic Stick or

Hose for clogging. Switch off and unplug the

vacuum cleaner, remove the clogging, then

resume cleaning.

• Never use the vacuum cleaner near the hot

surfaces, ashtrays or places where flamma-

ble liquids are stored.

• Make sure your hands are dry when you

insert the plug into wall outlet.

• To avoid damage to the dust bag, collect

sharp items from the floor before using the

vacuum cleaner.

• Do not pull the plug out of the wall outlet by

the cable.

ASSEMBLING

Always switch off and unplug the vacuum

cleaner before changing the brush attach-

ments or servicing the unit.

1. Fitting the Hose

Insert Hose (3) into air intake port on the upper

cover of the unit until it clicks into place.

Use the "Power On/Off" Button (5) to switch

the vacuum cleaner on or off.
