Creamy Basil Dressing

Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor until smooth.

Chill until ready to serve.

Yogurt-Dill Sauce

1 tsp minced garlic . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 5 ml

2 tbsp minced red onion . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 30 ml

1 1/2 tbsp chopped capers . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 22 ml

1 1/2 tbsp fresh lemon juice . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 22 ml

Mix all ingredients.

Chocolate Frozen Yogurt

1 1/2 cups low–fat milk . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 375 ml

1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 50 ml

3 ounces bittersweet chocolate. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 100 g

1 egg, lightly beaten . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 1

3/4 cup fruit sugar. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 175 ml

1 tbsp cornstarch . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 15 ml

1 1/2 cups low–fat plain yogurt . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 375 ml

In a heavy saucepan, combine sugar and cornstarch. Stir in milk and

beaten eggs. Cook, stirring constantly, over medium heat until mixture

is thickened and coats a metal spoon. Stir in both chocolates and

cool. Stir in vanilla and yogurt and freeze in your ice cream maker or

by freezer method.

6-8 Servings

or process granulated sugar in a food processor for 1 minute or until fine.
