Installation – General
A. Unroll the GreenGuard ® Flashing and cut pieces using
a common utility knife. Be sure to cut pieces to allow
for a minimum of 4 inches of overlap of intersecting
flashing pieces.
B. Begin by peeling back the release paper and pressing
the flashing firmly to the substrate, ensuring that there
are no wrinkles or bubbles. Continue to press and
smooth out the flashing, working along the sealed
area to ensure adequate bonding.
C. If additional pieces are necessary to span a wide
area, several courses can be installed by overlapping
each course a minimum of 2 inches.
D. On wall applications, the edge of the flashing must
be kept at least ½ inch from the finished exterior and
must not come into contact with any visible sealants.
E. GreenGuard ® Flashing shall be covered with the
finished exterior covering as soon as scheduling
permits.

Storage and Handling
• Protect GreenGuard ® Flashing from exposure to excessive heat and cold. Store in clean, dry area in the original
cartons.
• If stored outdoors, protect the GreenGuard ® Flashing from exposure to rain, direct sunlight, or other harmful
environmental conditions.
Standard Product Warranty
Pactiv warrants this product to be free from defects in workmanship and materials only at the time of shipment from its
factory. If materials are determined to be defective, Pactiv will, at its option, replace the defective material or refund the
purchase price.
This limited warranty is the only warranty extended by Pactiv with respect to this material. NO OTHER WARRANTY,
EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, IS GIVEN AS TO THE MERCHANTIBILITY, FITNESS FOR PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR OTHERWISE
WITH RESPECT TO THE PRODUCTS REFERRED TO.
