SETUP

Head Mounting

(FIGURES 1 & 2)

Your Tripod is designed to accommodate Video
Heads and Adapters. It is shipped complete with
a matching Half Ball Adapter pre-mounted and
incorporates a standard 3/8” male screw which
is compatible with many flat base Heads and QR
Clamps. Install your standard flat base Head or
Adapter by screwing it clockwise on to the 3/8"
Mounting Screw of the Top Plate.

If you are mounting a Video Head with a Ball base
or other similar device you will need to remove the
Half Ball Adapter. Unscrew the Head Lock Knob
completely clockwise until it is free of the threaded
shaft. Then remove the Curved Plate and Washer
and pull the Half Ball out of the top of the Spider
Casting. Insert your new Video Head and reverse the
procedure securing with the Curved Plate, Washer
and Head Lock Knob, turning counter-clockwise.
NOTE: a 3/8” threaded Locking Knob is included and
fits most Italian and Asian Video heads, an optional
10mm threaded Locking Knob is available to secure
most German and British Video heads.

OPERATION

Leg Angle Adjustment

(FIGURE 3)

To accommodate uneven terrain, awkward shooting
situations or for low angle shooting, your Induro
Tripod includes a 3-position Leg Angle Adjustment
Sliding Lock. Each Leg can be adjusted by pulling
the Leg Angle Lock out and selecting one of the
three positions. Please make sure that the Leg Angle
Lock is securely pushed back into the lock position
after you have selected the desired Leg Angle.

Leg Section Adjustment

(FIGURE 4)

Each Leg section can be adjusted to the desired
length by turning the leg lock grip 1/2 turn (180°)
clockwise until the Leg is free to slide in or out. Once
the desired length is achieved, turn the Leg Lock Grip
counter-clockwise until the Leg Section is securely
locked. Repeat this step for each Leg and each
Section until the Tripod is set to the desired height.

Foot Adjustment

Pivoting Pod Feet swivel to accommodate different
Leg Angles and also provide maximum terrain
compatibility. In addition, the Tripod can be secure
by bolting, screwing or spiking through the Foot
Mounting Holes. The Mounting Holes are reinforced
and accept fasteners up to M10 or 3/8” in diameter.

Head Leveling

Most Video Heads and Still Camera Heads have
a Bubble Level built-in to provide even camera
pans. To make an adjustment to Bowl mounted
Heads or Adapters, turn the Head Lock Knob
clockwise slightly to loosen, and rotate the head in
the Bowl until it is level. Turn the Head Lock Knob
counterclockwise to secure.
